Privacy Policy

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all users who purchase and/or access courses through MorMed Medical (“MorMed”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By registering, enrolling, or making payment, you agree to the following:

 

1. Refunds & Return Policy

  • Refunds will only be considered if MorMed Medical, due to technical or administrative issues on our side, makes it impossible for you to access or complete the course you have purchased.
  • Once a course has been accessed, it is deemed delivered and non-refundable.
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to morrowlume@gmail.com, with supporting details of the issue.
  • Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 7–14 working days using the original payment method (via PayFast or bank transfer).
  • No refunds will be granted for reasons such as change of mind, lack of time, deferral or postponement of exam dates, or not meeting personal expectations, unless course access was not possible due to MorMed’s fault.

2. Privacy Policy & POPIA Compliance

  • MorMed respects your right to privacy and complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
  • We collect only the personal information necessary to register you, process payments, and provide access to course content.
  • Your personal data will not be shared with third parties except where required by law or necessary for payment processing and course delivery.
  • By enrolling, you consent to us storing and processing your personal information securely for course administration.
  • You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at morrowlume@gmail.com

3. Copyright & Intellectual Property

  • All course materials (videos, MCQs, notes, lectures, graphics, images, and other resources) are the intellectual property of MorMed Medical and it contributors unless otherwise stated.
  • Content is provided for personal educational use only.
  • You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, record, or share course materials without written permission from MorMed.
  • Breach of this condition may result in removal from courses, forfeiture of access, and legal action.

4. Access & Course Use

  • Course access is granted only to the registered individual and is non-transferable.
  • MorMed reserves the right to suspend or terminate access if misuse, fraud, or breach of these Terms occurs.
  • Course progress records and associated user data may be deleted one (1) year after course completion.
  • We aim to provide uninterrupted access but cannot guarantee availability due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • Courses are designed for educational purposes only and do not replace formal medical training or professional judgment.
  • MorMed, its partners, and contributors are not liable for any loss, injury, or damages arising from the use of the content.

6. CPD Points & HPCSA Compliance

  • For courses that are accredited for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points, MorMed may be required to submit your professional details (HPCSA numberand course completion status) to the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) or its designated accrediting bodies.
  • By enrolling in such courses, you consent to MorMed submitting the necessary information for the allocation of CPD points.
  • It remains your responsibility to ensure that your HPCSA registration details are accurate and up to date to avoid any delays or errors in CPD point allocation.

7. Amendments

  • MorMed may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
